Happy winter... I mean Fall!
Wouldn't believe it with how cold it's suddenly been. The fall is definitely my favorite time of the year, and I feel like we are skipping right over all my cute fall jackets! :(
Regardless of what the weather is doing, I am still fully celebrating fall. I figured I would dedicate this post to all things fall. Fall decor, fall activities, fall clothing, fall makeup and fall cuteness!
Side note, how many times do you think I can say the word fall in this post?
Let's start with the most beautiful fall wedding I attended in the middle of the month. A friend from high school finally tied the knot in the loveliest way. Everything about the wedding was genuine, full of love, and just beautiful. The flowers and colors were the star in my opinion though. They really embraced the fall and it was simply my favorite!
And while are on the wedding, let's discuss makeup! Specifically the makeup I did for the wedding . I wanted to do a smokey eye with a bit of sparkle. My favorite part about a relatively neutral colored eye is that you can pair it with a nice bold red lipstick! I chose the Hank and Henry lipstick in the color Petal Pusher, previously seen in my Makeup Monday post. The color was a perfect deep red for fall, and tied everything together.
Let's move on to fall outfits! Surprisingly enough I have no over sized sweaters to share. Don't be fooled though, I have definitely bought my share of them for the season. For the three outfits below I wanted to share something a little different. The pink vest...I just could NOT resist, and the denim jacket has been a favorite of mine. I can never do just a basic denim jacket. It has to have some leather or sweatshirt involved to spice it up. And then of course no fall outfit would be complete without a big fluffy scarf!
Next up, fall activities! This year we went to a pumpkin festival, and it was absolutely adorable. The list of activities included a corn maze, rubber duck water races, hay bale obstacle course, pumpkin and sunflower picking, and apple cider donuts! (Obviously donuts.) As soon as we got home, we proceeded to carve pumpkins according to the outlines Jake drew for us. Once the pumpkins were carved and outside we treated ourselves to some apple cider donuts. It was an adorable little "family" day.
Last but not least, I will share my favorite fall decor find this year! I have decorated quite simply as I didn't want to go crazy my first year having a home to decorate. But I did find plenty of small cute touches to make the house feel homey and warm! Below is my favorite area of the house, paired with some cinnamon donut muffins of course!

And that's it! I still have some pumpkin flavored treats to make, but overall this year I have done all the cute basic fall things I wanted to do!
I couldn't resist pointing out my use of the word fall through the whole post :P
